Our commitment extends beyond the Centre into the broader community, where we work to raise awareness, promote child protection, and build a supportive environment for survivors.
Community Sensitization: We conduct regular sensitization campaigns to raise awareness about child safety, trauma, and the importance of parental skills. These sessions are targeted at parents, teachers, village elders, chiefs, volunteer children officers, religious leaders, and other community members who are in daily contact with children.
- Training for Child Protection Service Providers:
We organize and facilitate training for professionals and service providers on child protection issues. This includes educating on the referral system and other vital child protection practices. Our goal is to ensure a network of informed individuals working together to prevent and manage cases of abuse, fostering a zero-tolerance attitude toward child abuse within society.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
As active members of local child protection stakeholder groups, we collaborate with other organizations and entities to improve the coordination and delivery of child protection services. By working together, we strive to create a more integrated and responsive system of care for children in need.
